Select the ‘Manage Xilinx Licenses’ tab and click on the ‘Copy License…’ button 4. Browse to the downloaded license file and click ‘Open’ Note: IP licenses generated from the Xilinx Product Licensing Site are designed to be used with both ISE Design Suite 12, 11 and 10.1 IP. If IP licenses are to be used with a 10.1 ISE Design Suite software installation, the license file should be copied to .Xilinx\Coregen\CoreLicenses. ISE 10.1 software looks in this location for IP licenses.
